CONGRATS to
Coach Heavlin on her new arrival!
Good Tuesday!
I know most of the girls have heard, but Jeff, Lucy, and I welcomedBeckett Joseph to our family Friday October 28th at 11:48 PM. He was 7 lbs. 13 oz and 20 1/2 in. long. He is doing well and we are home now. I will not be back school until January, but I will stop in.

Good Friday --
We are down to the last two games of this season, with our Boys Basketball team played today in Rapid City at 1:45. They played a great game last night against Mitchell, but came up short.
We will have our awards night in the Commons on Monday March 19th at 6:00 PM. Please bring a main dish and salad or dessert to share. It should be a fun time with all of our cheerleaders! We have 17 Seniors this year!!
On March 20th, we will be having a pep rally at Roosevelt; cheerleaders (sophmomores and varsity) will be performing the STOMP cheer during it . Cheerleaders will be dismissed from class at 9:20. Please wear a cardinal cheer shirt and jeans and bring your poms as well for the school song.
March 22nd will be the Girls Basketball Awards Night at 5:30 in the Auxiliary Gym. Girl Basketball cheerleaders look for another email this weekend about that event.

Good Friday! Here is an update about the basketball games through next week and other upcoming events for cheer! There will be a short meeting today afterschool for voting for awards and info for the pep rally on March 20th.
For Girls Basketball, with the loss last night they must win Saturday against Lincoln to go to state. Another loss will mean the end of the season.
For Boys Basketball, with the loss last night they will be playing at home tonight against Watertown. Another loss for them would end their season and a win will have the Rider Boys playing on the road at either Washington or Lincoln on Tuesday night.

Sophomore uniforms are due on the 28th (Tuesday) to Coach Katie. Please bring them to her office and be sure your name is in your bag for check in. When you bring in your bag, please vote for awards for the end of the season.
The calendar is updated below for the first two games of districts. We will be in contact after each game with the cheerleaders about when and where games will be happening depending on wins and losses.

Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend!
A reminder to everyone, Sophomores need to be at their games 45 minutes ahead and Varsity needs to be there an hour before the game starts. Girls have been on time to practices overall so far, so let keep it up! Also, a reminder that if you are going to be late or absence you need to let the coaches know by phone or email as soon as possible. The coach attending the games will be listed on the schedule from now on. This is the last week of regular season games.
Sophomore uniforms are due on the 27th to Coach Katie. Please bring them to her office and be sure your name is in your bag for check in.
We should know late in the week who and where the varsity teams are playing. I will get the information out as soon as I know. I will be out of the school on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday as well.
